Coding for Kids (C4K)

In light of advancing digital literacy, AmaliTech is convinced that equipping kids at early ages with digital skills and setting them on the right path towards technological exploration is vital for their future careers.

Through our Coding for Kids (C4K) initiative, we aim to equip these young minds with the necessary tools and skills to thrive in a technology-driven world, opening doors to future opportunities that may otherwise be inaccessible.

How Does C4K Work?

AmaliTech enables local ICT Teachers to impart fundamental coding skills to their pupils by means of an elaborate train the-teacher programme. Languages taught include Scratch, HTML/ CSS, Python and Java with subsequent mentoring of teachers by AmaliTech trainers.

Coding Competitions & Bootcamps

Coding Competitions and Bootcamps are held annually for young participants learning Coding from our C4K programme or young participants from invited schools and communities.
Our coding competitions will continue to create opportunities for underprivileged teens and kids to learn how to code. The joy of these experiences is seeing how these students/kids are shaped into problem-solvers, innovators and critical thinkers.

TEENS CODE BOOTCAMP

  • 3-4 days of coding training, free of charge.

  • Targeted age groups are 13 to 16 years old students.

  • Focus on Scratch, HTML/CSS, Python, & Java.

CODING COMPETITIONS

  • A platform for applying the knowledge and skills garnered while learning coding to produce creative solutions to problems.

  • Winners will be awarded for their achievements.

  • Engagement of more external partners planned to open competitions to non-C4K schools and to support awarding of deserved students.
