AmaliTech Drills & Commissions Borehole for TTU

AmaliTech commissioned a borehole and water pump for the Takoradi Technical University (TTU) last week.

According to the Head of AmaliTech’s Training Centre, Salami Suleiman, this was necessitated by the constant water shortage and intermittent cuts in the flow of water to the school, which also affected the Training Centre and the whole Oduro block in general.

In a brief address by the Operations Director of AmaliTech, Matthew Darkwa, he stated that AmaliTech’s partnership with TTU from 2019 has been so instrumental in the achievement of its set goals for its Training Academy.

He stated that central to AmaliTech’s ultimate goal of job creation and employment of young people in Africa, Graduates and students of the institution have benefitted from its training programmes with job offers, internships and digital skills boot camps. In addition to empowering young people for great exploits in the digital world, AmaliTech, having partnered with TTU, saw it prudent to support the infrastructural growth of the institution, in fulfillment of our CSR duties.

In acknowledgement of this great initiative, the Vice Chancellor of Takoradi Technical University, Rev. Prof. John Frank Eshun emphasised how vital access to good, safe and uninterrupted water supply is for smooth academic work.

The event also afforded the Head of AmaliTech’s Training Centre the opportunity to outline some of the strategies AmaliTech is rolling out to get more students and graduates from the institution on board.
