AmaliTech introduced the Women Code Ghana Bootcamp in November 2021 to equip Women who have not had the opportunity to acquire basic coding skills with basic skills in Python, HTML, and CSS.
The Bootcamp began with a brief orientation on building and maintaining a career in the tech industry, and the importance of tech literacy in all industries and facets of life.
The students were then introduced to fundamental programming concepts and how to solve problems and create innovations using HTML, CSS, and Python. Conclusively, the Women Code Ghana Bootcamp equipped Women who are pursuing (and pursued) diverse career fields in tertiary with Basic Coding skills.
All participants were able to create web pages with their own profiles, among other projects.
