AmaliTech joins the Youth Connekt Africa Summit

In October 2021, AmaliTech joined the President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Rwanda, H. E. Paul Kagame, Heads of States, Government Officials, and other Distinguished Personalities & Organisations from various parts of Africa for the Youth Connekt Africa Summit at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The event, organized by Youth Connekt Africa, was hosted by Ghana’s Ministry of Youth & Sports, and the National Youth Authority, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme UNDP. The summit was themed: “Africa Beyond Aid: Positioning the Youth for the Post-Covid Economy and AfCFTA Opportunities”.

Key Personalities from AmaliTech teamed up with Dignitaries from UNDP Somalia for a Panel discussion, focused on ‘Designing the Future of Work in Africa’.

atthew Darkwa, (Director of Operations), Lois Young (CSR Team Lead) and Hope Ewudor (Project Team Lead), in their presentations, highlighted the need for the African youth to acknowledge that digitalization and technological inclusion is the most critical requirement for achieving rapid economic growth and an economically integrated Africa.
