Recently, we had the privilege of joining forces with the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana), GIZ Ghana, partners, mentors, industry leaders, and aspiring young women in tech to mark the successful conclusion of the Women Going Digital programme. This dynamic networking event was a vibrant celebration of mentorship, inspiration, and our shared commitment to encouraging more girls to embark on careers in technology.
Partnering with companies like Inngen and eSAL (eServices Africa Ltd.), we were honoured to contribute to the programme through mentorship and placement opportunities. At the event, we highlighted the transformative impact of initiatives such as the Women Going Digital Programme, emphasising how mentorship can significantly influence and elevate careers.
Launched in March, the Women Going Digital initiative aimed to equip women aged 18 and above with essential skills in digitalisation, robotics, artificial intelligence, data privacy and security, and more. The programme has been instrumental in fostering a new generation of female tech leaders, and it was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and drive of the participants.
We took immense pride in discussing the opportunities available to these young women at AmaliTech and how we are dedicated to promoting women in technology. Our focus on empowering women through mentorship and career development aligns with our broader mission of advancing inclusivity and diversity in the tech industry.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the organisers, supporters, partners, sponsors, and all the industry players who made the programme and the event a resounding success. Together, we are shaping a more inclusive and diverse tech landscape, where every girl and woman can thrive and excel.
Here’s to continuing our efforts to inspire, mentor, and empower. The future of Women Going Digital looks bright, and we are excited to be part of this transformative journey!
